Headquartered in Richland, Washington, STS operates reginaon offices in Bellevue, Washington; Portland, Oregon; San Diego, California; and Juneau, Alaska. Additionally, we have global project offices in more than 14 countries.

  • SB Prime Contractor for $400M Design, Integration, Construction, Communications and Engineering (DICCE) 2 Contract in support of NNSA’s Office of Nuclear Smuggling Detection and Deterrence.

8(a) Program Contracting

As a member in good standing with the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Program, the Federal Government can utilizing the 8(a) sole source vehicle to work with STS.  Doing so provides a convenient and cost effective contracting options for the federal government.

The 8(a) sole source vehicle provides agencies a simplified and shortened acquisition procedure:

Contract Performance Examples

For the Corps Walla Walla District IDIQ contract, STS is teaming with Freestone Environmental Services, Inc. and SWCA Environmental Consultants, Inc. to provide Environmental Consulting Services. Work encompasses 24 service areas and supports key Corps operations including hydro-power, navigation, flood risk management, water supply, ecosystem restoration, and recreation.

Through its Tech2 Solutions joint venture with Tetra Tech, Inc., STS is providing design-build services to the U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Under the DICCE2 contract, the joint venture team provides engineering, international logistcs and construction management support for the installation of fixed and mobile radiation detection systems and associated infrastructure. The systems are being installed at strategic land border crossings, airports, and seaports as part of the U.S. Government’s effort to reduce the risk of nuclear and radiological terrorism.
